Quality Carpet Cleaning | Bargain Prices in Glen Burnie, MD

1912 Broadway St NE Minneapolis, MN 55413 (612) 504-8247 This is definitely the way to go for your carpet cleaning needs in the Twin Cities. Dan, the owner, is great - professional, kind and very genuine when speaking with over the phone. They were able to accommodate my date no problem and Keith arrived prompt, bright and early Saturday morning. He was very knowledgable on the process and made us feel like he was more than competent to complete the job. And that he did - it looks great! The carpet is plush again and he got out majority of stains. We have dogs - one particularly accident-prone and one who sheds like there's no tomorrow. He spent SO much time raking the dog fur out of the carpeting before beginning the job, and this extra effort and attention to detail was phenomenal. Also, on a side note, they use dog-safe solutions - another positive. Overall, great experience with this company and I would definitely recommend them above some of the larger companies touting great deals (that often don't pan out that great from what I hear). Give these guys a shot, you won't be let down! Able to get fit me in during the date/time of my choice. Fast and friendly service. Removed all stains and smells. Decided on this company after reading other reviews. From initial contact on the phone to day of cleaning, very professional and efficient. And they were running ahead of schedule!! We took about 15 minutes for a walk through with them for exact measurements, discussed the price and procedure, made our payment and then left. Three hours later we returned home and were very pleased with the results. And just to emphasize, when they say it will be wet, it will be wet but dries pretty quickly, especially with a floor fan. Professional Carpet Cleaners just left our downtown Minneapolis condo. They did an excellent job and they are prompt, friendly and efficient! I would highly recommend this company as they are a small company where the owner and the workmen are highly invested in providing quality service. Excellent customer service where the customer is treated with respect. Thank you and I will recommend your service to others. Great experience with this company. I was given high level estimate from the owner within minutes of inquiry, was able to schedule very last minute cleaning and they went above & beyond to make it happen. Very professional, confirmed the exact pricing by measurement upfront, cleaned quickly, but thoroughly. The price was in line with expectations and their service exceeded expectations. Exceptional. I wish I had more for them to clean. :) Great service! I used them last week for a carpet shampooing and I'm really happy with them! Not only were they on time but worked very quickly too! Pricing is great, similar to what others are charging. Their service is worth it. Awesome company. Due to back to back medical emergencies, I had to cancel my carpet cleaning appointments with this company *twice*. When the crisis was over, I called them a third time and asked if they's still come and do the work. "Dan" was my phone contact, each time. He was courteous, gracious, and enthusiastically rescheduled the appointment. His tech, "Dave" came to our house, ON TIME (rare these days) on the scheduled day. Dave was courteous, polite, and professional. His results exceeded our expectations! So, I highly recommend that you use this company when you need carpet cleaning services. By the way, they also have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. I ALWAYS look for businesses that belong to the BBB. It paid off... AGAIN! I looked at all the reviews and they were 100% correct!! We thought our dog had totally destroyed two very expensive rugs and really didn't think they could be saved. I called and spoke to the owner and somehow I had a technician here in 2hrs. Rugs look fantastic!! I'm very pleased with my experience with Pro. My former tenant had moved out leaving numerous stains in the carpet. The guys were timely and respectful. They were also quick. I had to call them back for a couple of stubborn stains, which they came back and took care of without any additional charge. I will call them back when it's time to do my upholstery! These guys are excellent. They did a great job and took care of it very quickly. I will have them back every time I need a carpet/upholstery cleaning service.

A commercial carpet extractor works by injecting cleaning solution and water into carpet or upholstery and then vacuuming it out with powerful suction. Carpet extractors are known by many names including steam cleaners, carpet cleaners, portable carpet cleaning machines, portable cleaning equipment, etc and are the best carpet cleaner machines. If you’re doing a lot of commercial work you need a carpet cleaning machine that is durable and can take the punishment it will receive on the job. What should you look for in a commercial carpet extractor? The common features that you should use for comparison include vacuum power, pump PSI, tank capacity, and heater or no heater. Vacuum Power Carpet extractor carpet cleaning machines come with two-stage and three-stage motors. Three-stage motors are more powerful and will clean faster however, they are more expensive and require two power cords instead of just one. If you need the extra cleaning power you should go with a three-stage motor. Pump Pressure The pump on your carpet shampooer determines how powerful the machine’s spray is. Pump spraying pressure is measured in PSI. Pumps come in two PSI versions, 100 and 1000 PSI. The more powerful pump will drive solution deeper into the carpet, make cleaning faster, and do a better job of cleaning. Recovery/Solution Tank Commercial carpet extractors have two tanks. One is for the clean water and solution called the solution tank and the other holds the dirty water after cleaning and is called the recovery tank. For heavy-duty commercial work you should plan on a recovery/solution tank capacity of at least 12 gallons. This will minimize the number of times you need to stop and fill/empty. Heater A heater is an optional feature that comes on some extractor carpet cleaner machines. Heaters are not as important as other features, but they can improve cleaning performance and save time. We searched commercial carpet cleaning forums, manufacturer sites, social media, and customer review sites to find the most popular and highly rated commercial carpet extractors. Take a look at our list and see if one of these top rated carpet extractors is the best model for your operation. Trinity Carpet Care - Carpet, Tile, Upholstery Cleaning

I needed the carpet in my den, master bedroom and 16 stairs cleaned. There were several spots that needed special attention. This experience was top notch from start to finish. Micheal took my phone call on Tuesday with the request for the above carpet cleaning. I had a very tight window of time and he was able to honor my request for cleaning on Friday. He called on Friday morning to confirm the appointment and time, telling me then that he would call when he was about 30 minutes away, which he did. Micheal and Miquel arrived on time, assessed the job and went to work right away. The carpet looks fabulous! They were able to remove the stains I pointed out which was great. They were both extremely polite and very professional, and friendly as well. I will definitely hire them again! Micheal gave me a quote for cleaning my tile which I will have America Carpet and Tile Cleaning do when it suits my schedule. One of the best Angie's List providers I have had the pleasure of using. Not only A rated but A+.

Carpet Cleaning Equipment Hire Pietermaritzburg - Carpet Vidalondon

Getting your carpets cleaned by a professional is typically better for your carpets than doing it yourself. A good professional cleaner reduces damage from excessive water and detergents. "But you do want to make sure you hire a company that knows what it's doing, " advised Checkbook Executive Editor Kevin Brasler. Checkbook's research team just rated carpet and rug cleaning companies in the Puget Sound region. "There are really big differences in price, " said Brasler. "And there's really no relationship between the prices companies charge and the quality of work they do." Brasler and his secret shopping team got quotes from 44 local companies. The price to clean the same 330 square feet- a living room, dining room and hallway- ranged from a low of $85 to a high of $215. "The good news is, when it comes to carpet cleaning work, and rug cleaning also, you can get a price in advance. There's no reason a company can't quote you a very accurate price before they ever show up." But, don't just ask about price. Also ask about the cleaning method. Some companies use no water, some use only hot water, still others use a combination of water and light detergents. And Brasler says don't be misled by hype about so-called "green" carpet cleaning. "A lot of these companies, it's more marketing hype than it is actual technique, " said Brasler. Before you make an appointment, also be sure to check customer reviews. Brasler says some companies get low marks when it comes to quality control. Anyone can get a business license and buy carpet cleaning equipment. Lack of quality and diligence can leave you with soaked carpets, damaged furniture, and carpet fibers that attract even more dirt. Companies with the highest Checkbook ratings did the work properly on the first try- and offered good advice about cost options before they started the job. The complete Carpet and Rug Cleaning report lets you compare local prices and services, and learn what you should know abut the different cleaning methods- including so called "green" carpet cleaning.

How to clean Carpet Floor mats?

How to Remove Salt Stains From Your Floor Mats

Remove your floor mats, whether rubber or cloth, from your car, if possible. Open all of your car doors one-by-one, and take your mats out of the car, if they are removable. Do not clean them while they are still inside the car. You want to remove the mats so that you won't get water damage in your car’s interior. Also, you should not allow oily or foam consistency products to come in contact with the gas, clutch and brake pedals in your car as this could cause your foot to slip off the pedal during driving, which is dangerous. Vacuum cloth floor mats first. Use a vacuum to ensure that you suction up all of the dust particles and soil specks from your car mats before you try to clean them further. Cleaning a damp carpet mat can be difficult. You could use baking soda to absorb some moisture and foul odor by lightly sprinkling it onto the carpet floor mat and then leaving it to sit for about 10-20 minutes, before vacuuming. Vacuum the mats on both sides, making sure to thoroughly get crumbs and dust off of them. Shake or whack the mats to remove dirt. This will shake out some of the dust that is embedded in the rubber or cloth floor mats. Do this outside. Give the mat a couple of whacks against the ground. Find a hard surface to strike the mats against. This works for rubber and cloth mats. You might also want to use a scraper to remove hardened materials from the rubber mat before cleaning it. Method 2 Washing Rubber Car Floor Mats Choose good quality rubber car floor mats. Car floor mats are often made out of rubber. Especially up north where it can get rainy and snowy, the rubber mats provide good moisture protection for your interior and will dry faster than any other mat would do. You should pick rubber mats of good quality or else you will end up getting holes in them, which can make the water go under the mat and onto the floor and your interior floor will start to rot. If the interior floor starts to rot, this will create a really bad smell inside your car over time. Take a hose. Use a hose to simply wash the mats, but only on the dirty side of the mat. Don't make the mats wet on the downside. The hose should help you remove the loosely gathered dirt or food on the rubber floor mats. You could use a bucket of water if you don’t have a hose, although the pressure from the hose is useful for dislodging loose materials from the mats. You could also go to a car wash and pressure wash them off. Apply soap to every mat. Mix laundry soap and baking soda with water. This will fizz and lift out dirt. If you don't have baking soda, just use any kind of liquid soap. You could use spray soap or you could apply the soap with a wet rag. It's not hard to get dirt off of rubber floor mats, so usually soap and water is going to do the trick. Apply more pressure to your water hose, and wash the mats as good and thoroughly as you can. You could also clean rubber floor mats with baby wipes and hand sanitizer. Dry the car mats. The mats should be dry before you put them back into your car, but if you are at a gas station washing them there, you may not be able to wait. In that case, place all your mats where they are supposed to be, and put your air conditioning on full heat, and flip the fan switch to full power. For the best and fastest drying, put the AC Location switch to feet warming, as this will allow the mats to dry out quickly. Method 3 Washing Cloth Car Floor Mats Rub baking soda onto the upholstered car floor mats. Baking soda is good for getting stains out of cat floor mats. The baking soda will also help neutralize odors from pets and food and other dirt. You could also put baking soda with water on the bristles of a stiff scrub brush, and then scrub the floor mats clean. Apply soapy water to the car mats. You can add detergent to soapy water, and scrub the floor mats with a stiff brush to make them clean. Make a mixture with two tablespoons of washing powder and an equal amount of any shampoo. Then, rub the brush on your car floor mat with that mixture. You can also use this mixture to clean your car bumper which is made up of plastic only. You have many different options for cleaning materials. With a small hand brush (stiff bristles) or a deck scrubber brush, gently brush any debris away from the mat. Scrub hard. Wash all the soap off with clean water. Try spray cleaner. You could spray a carpet cleaner over the mat and leave for 30 mins. Or you can buy special upholstery cleaner for cars at most auto shops. The carpet cleaner should either have evaporated or have been absorbed by the mat. Then, use the hand brush to make sure you work the carpet cleaner into and throughout the mat. You could make your own spray by adding one bottle of white vinegar to the same amount of hot water, and then spraying it on the car mats. Scrub with the brush. This method is particularly good at removing salt stains.. If there is chewing gum on the mats, you can apply peanut butter and some salt, and then scrub the mats to remove the remnants of the chewing gum. Use a power washer or steam cleaner. Another option is to use a steam cleaning vacuum on the mats. This should work as well on car floor mats as it does on carpet inside your house. If you don’t have a power washer at home, you can usually find them at car washes, and you could power wash your floor mats there. You can also put car floor mats in your washing machine, using your regular detergent. Apply spray stain remover first. Vacuum the floor mats again. This will help suck up some of the water and remove any remaining dirt particles from the mats. A wet/dry vac (shop-vac) is recommended because they are designed to remove moisture.Vacuum cleaners with hose attachments also work well because they have suctioning power. Take a hoover with 680 watts or more power, so you have more power. Then, take the mat and hoover it clean using a thin hose for better suction. Dry the floor mats thoroughly. To dry cloth floor mats, hang them up somewhere or dry them in a dryer. Floor mats get a damp musky smell if not dry. You could also spray them with a clean fresh scent. Leave them outside in the sun to dry. This will also help freshen the smell. You could also put cloth floor mats in the dryer. Then, use a razor to remove any excess fur hanging off the mat (just razor the whole mat and all the extra fur will disappear) Community Q&A Add New Question How can I remove dog hair from my car mats? wikiHow Contributor Remove your mats. The Elegant and also Beautiful Carpet Cleaning Business Income for

The quickest way to earning $100, 000 per year from your business is as an efficient owner/operator. The beauty of a carpet cleaning business is that you can make a lot of money without having to build a complicated infrastructure. Prematurely building a large infrastructure will slow you down and possibly threaten your success. The need for speed It’s a race against time. People starting a cleaning business typically have limited money. Time is critical for most because they are draining their cash and credit reserves to pay business and personal bills while building the business. The clock is ticking until you can produce enough to pay those bills. If you run out of cash and credit before you hit that point, it’s over. Anything that needlessly adds to the complexity or expense of running the business makes reaching the goal that much harder. Your advantage is the simplicity of the business structure that requires minimal sales revenue to reach the goal. A common mistake is to prematurely expand business costs. Many operators add nonessentials such as additional cleaning technicians, office help, overly expensive equipment or ineffective advertising. Poor choices can add tens of thousands of unproductive dollars to the annual expenses. Minimize your need for new customers The most challenging and expensive part of building a business is getting new customers. Minimizing the need for new customers increases your chances of success. The fewer customers needed to pay your business expenses plus your $100, 000 income, the easier life will be. Nonessential expenses require more customers and make success more difficult. You need a plan to build a streamlined owner/operator business. A good plan focuses on spending wisely and attracting profitable customers. Without a plan, it’s easy to make choices that slow down your progress. Most of the business advice in our industry is from people who have succeeded with large and complex operations that require huge sales revenue to maintain. Most of that information is helpful to companies that are already earning $100, 000 and are striving for higher goals. Evaluate the advice you hear as to whether it is appropriate for your business. A small business is on a different path. Good ideas for a large business could be costly for you. You must get it done The quickest way to $100, 000 requires you to perform almost all the cleaning and business activities. Your success demands that you do things you may not be comfortable with or enjoy doing. Once you reach your goal, you can choose to do things differently. Giving in to the temptation to avoid some unpleasant tasks makes it harder to reach your goal. Your challenge up to this point is a lack of profitable customers, not a lack of time. Failing to perform important tasks, or paying someone to do things you can easily do, is a mistake. There is nothing complicated that prevents you from reaching the $100, 000 goal. A lot of little things must get done and you’re the one to do them. Answering and returning telephone calls, data entry, paying bills and printing, folding and sending out follow-up and marketing materials are all part of the job. Until you have more work than you can handle, you must remember that every dollar you needlessly spend is an additional dollar you must earn. Owner/Operator advantage You hold the advantage when competing for jobs and gaining new customers. The skill, care, knowledge and expertise you provide are perceived to be greater than those of an employee-technician of a large company. If the customer is given the choice between having the owner or his best employee doing the job, the customer will choose the owner. Appearing more skilled and professional increases your value to the customers, enabling you to win a larger percentage of jobs. You also have the advantage when competing for high-profit consumers. Again, your superior skills and professionalism make it easier for you to win the more profitable consumers who are willing to pay extra for quality. These consumers tend to become loyal, long-term customers who repeat annually, thereby reducing the number of new customers you need. These consumers also tend to refer you to others more frequently, accelerating your growth. Winning high-profit consumers enables you to greatly reduce the cost of your advertising expense. Achieving the goal Once you reach the $100, 000 goal, you are in a position of strength and financial security to decide where you want to take your business. You have succeeded. You won the race against time. The door to great opportunity in this industry is now wide open. Now, you can choose and decide to continue the freedom and flexibility of running a single truck business and build it to higher levels of profit, or expand your business to become a multi-truck company. Building your business as an owner/ operator is the quickest way to reach the goal of earning $100, 000. There are other ways, but considering the greater investment and risk, keeping it simple and fast increases your chances of success. Dry Cleaning Carpets At Home - Carpet Vidalondon

Thoroughly vacuum all areas you plan to clean. Vacuuming helps remove dry soil from the carpet and makes cleaning easier. Start with an empty vacuum cleaner bag. Vacuum slowly and thoroughly. Pay special attention to high traffic areas such as entrances, hallways and in front of favorite furniture. If there are high traffic areas, tough spots or greasy, oily dirt within the 10′ x 10′ area of carpet, pre-spray with Pre-Clean. Hold bottle waist-high and lightly mist Pre-Clean, using only 4 pumps per 3′ x 3′ area (do not use more than this; more is not better). Allow Pre-Clean to sit on carpet for 2 – 3 minutes. Turn box upright and snip open the foil bag. Apply about 9 handfuls of HOST to the 10′ x 10′ area of carpet. Apply more on spots and spills and in high traffic areas (entranceways, hallways, in front of favorite furniture) and less in areas where people don’t walk. Avoid applying to areas where there is no soil such as along walls or in corners. Remember, only apply HOST to one 10′ x 10′ area at a time so the cleaning ingredients remain active. CAUTION: Persons with unusual skin sensitivity should protect hands and arms from direct contact. Persons having respiratory ailments should avoid using in unventilated, confined areas. Unwrap cord and plug machine into wall outlet (110 volt). Place one foot on the edge of the tray. With hand near the base of the handle, lift the machine up and out of the tray. Move the handle lock, found at the base of the handle, to the “Unlock” position. To operate, squeeze the lever underneath the top of the handle. To lock the machine in the “on” position, slide the button on the top of the handle over while squeezing the lever. CAUTION: Test the HOST Dry-Clean Machine in an inconspicuous area of the carpet. Some soft texture carpets may fuzz when brushed. If texture distortion occurs, do not use. Brush HOST through carpet Start in one corner of the 10′ x 10′ area and move sideways across the area using push /pull strokes to create an overlapping “W” pattern. At the end of the row, step back to start a second row. Move sideways back across the area, overlapping about half of the first row. Continue brushing the entire 10′ x 10′ area this way. Turn 90° to face across the area. Using the same technique as in the 1st pass, brush the 10′ x 10′ area completely. Turn 90° again back to the first position and brush the 10′ x 10′ area completely a third time. Tip: Occasionally tap the hood of the machine with your foot to release any HOST which may have gathered under it. Tip: Heavily soiled traffic areas and tough spots may require some extra care. Apply more HOST to these areas and brush again. The more brushing you do, the better the results will be. With the HOST Dry Carpet Cleaning System, you don’t have to worry about overwetting the carpet. Wait about an hour, then vacuum Wait until HOST is completely dry (about an hour) and then simply vacuum. HOST will lighten to a pale gold color as it dries. Since HOST is all natural and safe for people and pets, you can use your room while it’s drying. After vacuuming, a trace of HOST may remain in the carpet. This cleaner will not harm your carpet and will be removed with subsequent vacuuming. If you notice a lot of HOST remaining, check your vacuum cleaner bag. Change the bag if it’s more than 1/2 full and vacuum again. After cleaning, if you have HOST left over, close foil bag tightly to maintain freshness and store in a cool, dry place. Vacuum stairs before cleaning. Remove the long handle from the HOST Dry-Clean Machine by lifting the small lever at the base of the handle and pulling the handle up and out. Start at the top of the stairs and work down. If stairs are extremely dirty, mist each with HOST Pre-Clean first. Apply one handful of HOST per stair. To operate the machine, squeeze the lever underneath the lower handle and guide the machine across the stairs. Make 3 passes as described in Step 5 “Brush HOST Through the Carpet.” Wait until HOST is completely dry (about an hour) and then simply vacuum Special carpets and rugs may require extra care when cleaning. If you are cleaning wool, Berber, natural fibers or delicate rugs follow these steps: Test for color fastness: Take a small amount of HOST and brush it through the carpet with your fingertips in an inconspicuous area. If color transfers or changes, do not use. Wool or Wool Berber: HOST Dry Carpet Cleaner carries the WoolSafe seal of approval. When cleaning wool it is normal to experience some shedding, but avoid aggressive brushing as it can cause wool to fuzz. Cleaning wool Berber can be a challenge because it is even more susceptible to fuzzing and texture distortion. To avoid, brush only in the direction of the rows of loops, not across the loops. Or, call us at 800-558-9439 for a HOST Professional Cleaner near you. Synthetic Berber (olefin or nylon): These fibers may require additional brushing, but if any texture distortion occurs, stop! For easier removal of HOST from synthetic Berber, brush carpet again with the HOST Dry-Clean Machine to loosen dried HOST from the looped fibers before vacuuming. Delicate Rugs (Oriental, Chinese, Persian, etc.): These rugs are often made with wool or silk fibers. When brushing, be aware of the texture, do not brush aggressively. Be careful when brushing near rug edges, do not brush fringe. Test for texture distortion: Test the HOST Dry-Clean Machine in an inconspicuous area of the carpet or rug. If any texture distortion occurs, do not use. Note that aggressive brushing may also cause texture distortion. Natural Fibers (sisal, coir, jute, sea grass, etc.): Natural fibers are very absorbent so permanent discoloration from spots, spills and liquids may occur. Note that the color of these fibers may be affected by any type of cleaning. CAUTION: If the machine stops while in use, call or return machine to the HOST dealer. Do not try to repair. Getting Out Crayon Stains - Remove Crayon Stain

Who doesn’t love to color? Kids certainly do! And thanks to the invention of crayons, they can color to their hearts’ content. So what do you do if their love of art ends up wreaking havoc on your beautiful, plush carpeting? You can start by checking out COIT’s in depth guide to figure out how to remove crayon from carpet. How to Get Crayon Out of Carpet – Method # 1 Before you tackle the question of how to remove crayon from carpet, remember that any type of stain is more likely to come out if you act fast – so get movin’! As soon as you discover the stain, gently scrape any remaining crayon residue from the surface. Using a small amount of carpet cleaner, add a small amount to the affected area and blot with a clean towel or absorbent pad. Repeat Step 2 over and over until the crayon stain disappears. Allow the crayon stain to dry. How to Get Crayon Out of Carpet – Method # 2 Upon discovering the crayon stain, see if you can remove any excess colored wax using a dull knife. Next, wrap an ice cube in a plastic bag and apply the plastic bag directly on top of the stained area. This will freeze any wax residue that remains. Cover the stained area with a clean white cloth. Using the tip of a warm iron (not too hot!) press into the cloth. As you repeat this step, more and more colored wax should start to transfer from the carpet to the cloth. If you still see any color on the carpet after completing steps 1 through 4, sponge the affected area of the carpet using a dry-cleaning solvent. How to Get Melted Crayon Out of Carpet It’s one thing to try and get rid of a dry crayon stain – but how do you handle getting rid of crayon that’s actually melted? If the two above mentioned do-it-yourself techniques don’t seem to be working effectively for melted crayon, try this method to remove crayon from carpet: Take blue dawn dish soap and mix several drops with a cup of warm water. Place a white cloth directly over the stained area of your carpet. Pour the soapy water onto the cloth and let it soak into the crayon stain. Take a warm iron (on the low setting) and place it over the stain. Let the iron sit for a few minutes. Repeat step 4 several times or until the stain is no longer visible. Dry the carpet with a fresh towel, blotting until all of the liquid has been absorbed. Give these do-it-yourself solutions a try. If you’re still seeing a lot of crayon residue, you may want to consider investing in professional carpet cleaning services to dig deeper into the stain. Give COIT carpet cleaning a call today to learn more about our services and don't forget to checkout our Remember to always do a spot removal test on a portion of carpet or upholstery that is normally not visible. These are suggested treatments only and COIT can't be held accountable for any damage sustained by use of the treatments in this spot removal guide .

Green Choice Carpet of Brooklyn - 16 Photos & 19 Reviews - Carpet

300 Richardson St East Williamsburg, NY 11222 (718) 475-1096 The company provides the best cleaning and pick up service I could ever hope for. They cleaned a silk rug that had more pee stains than a zoo. And it's ready for my new born to eat from it, it's so clean & Green Friendly. The owner knows his rugs, his knowledge is great when your pricing your next cleaning because if your not sure if your rug is worth a few bucks or not, he will know. I highly recommend them & so will you. Was not happy with the service. I was surprised being that i read the reviews however i now realize that most were rated 2 years ago which is when they probably did better work. I agree with the person previously about them not revealing the price until they arrive at your house. However, if the work is good we dont mine paying. The vendor told us that out carpet would be clean like brand new which not have been a problem with 2 year old carpet. The carpet did not get clean like he explained. Last he said the carpet would dry in 5 hours. It has now been three days and carpet is still damp. We will monitor for mold which will be there problem especially with a new born expected in a week. I received a quote for $84 to have a mattress cleaned, when the technician finished the job he charged $120.00. The only reason he got that money was because I wasn't home. If i knew the cost was $120.00 I probably would've decided to buy a new mattress instead!!! I found this company through Yelp, read the reviews and decided to give them a call. The company representative scheduled for me an appointment with their technician George to see the rug and give me an estimate. George was great! He was very honest about the process that they going to do to clean the rug and really cared that we will set my expectations regarding the results. This was very refreshing approach as most of the companies offered me that the rug will be as new or even better... The rug was ready within a few days and was delivered to me when it was convenient to me. Needless to say that the rug was clean and smell great after the cleaning. Overall - great company, great customer service great service! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them again in the future!

This is a quick exercise on putting together a commercial carpet cleaning business plan. The goal is to create a quick 1 page business plan template that can be added to and changed over time. Now we can find plenty of software nowadays to create 30 page templates to submit to a bank or investor. This plan is more for us small business owners to actually use on a monthly basis or at least a couple times a year. The idea is to ask what if questions for our business and come up with a written plan of answers. All a business plan really is asking questions of what the next move is or what do we do if X happens. Vans/equipment will breakdown, employees quit, vendors fail, we know this for 100 % fact. Best Carpet Extractor & Cleaner Reviews 2017 | CarpetGurus

How to Choose a Carpet Cleaner The top performers in our review are the Hoover Max Extract 60, the Gold Award winner; the Rug Doctor Deep Carpet Cleaner, the Silver Award winner; and the Hoover SteamVac SpinScrub Carpet Cleaner, the Bronze Award winner. Here’s more on choosing a carpet cleaner to meet your needs, along with detail on how we arrived at our ranking of these 10 products. Regardless of how often you vacuum your carpets, you know that you’re not getting the deepest clean possible. A single carpet cleaning session can revitalize your floor from the effects of everyday living. Using the power of hot water, sudsy soap and rotating brushes, a carpet cleaner can scrub out old stains, new stains and deeply embedded dirt from high traffic areas. You can get the most out of a carpet cleaner that combines top-of-the-line features, such as multiple brushes, strong suction, heated air drying and convenient accessories. More brushes means more opportunities for your carpet cleaner to scrub out stubborn stains and lift dirt from the fibers of your carpet. One of the most important features of a solid carpet cleaner is its ability to extract as much water as possible after you’ve cleaned a room. Machines that include an on-board dryer that forces heated air onto your carpets after sucking up water will help your carpets dry faster. Although owning a carpet cleaner can save you money in the end – even after just two or three cleanings – not everyone is in the market to purchase a machine. We’ve studied the best carpet cleaning services available, so check out our list of the top services. When you’re ready to buy a steam cleaner, be sure you’re buying the right tool for the job – hard floor surfaces require steam mops. If you’re looking for a way to keep your carpets clean after all of your hard work, check out our list of the top upright vacuum cleaners. You don’t have to spend a ton of money on a good vacuum cleaner, though – take a look at the best budget vacuums. Some situations call for you to rent a carpet cleaner, such as when you need to refresh the carpets in an apartment before the end of your lease. Those industrial strength machines you can rent for a day from big box hardware stores may only cost a fraction of the price of a unit you can own, but they can come with unpleasant surprises, too. In addition to testing carpet cleaners that are intended for household use, we also rented two of the most popular commercial options available: the Rug Doctor Pro and the BISSELL Big Green Machine. Our tests proved that the bigger machines have unequaled extraction – especially the Big Green Machine. However, they did not necessarily clean better. Also, the Rug Doctor Pro left stains on our test carpet from the brushes, and it deposited water and cleaning solution from the edges of the machine. These unpredictable variables can mean more work for you in the long run. The carpet cleaners on our lineup each went through vigorous testing on stains we created on light carpeting. We tested each machine’s features and its ability to clean carpets and extract water. See how they fared in a house with pets in our videos and learn more by reading our articles on carpet cleaners. Carpet Cleaners: What We Tested, What We Discovered The most important feature of any carpet cleaner is how well it can perform – from the moment it mixes water with a carpet shampoo to the point of sucking up all of that dirty water. It’s also important that you’re able to maneuver the machine, so we scored it on how easily we were able to move each carpet cleaner forward, backward and along edges.

The Ultimate Carpet Clean Carpet Steam Cleaning (Hot Water Extraction) Dry Carpet Cleaning (Bonnet Cleaning) Encapsulation (Low Moisture Carpet Cleaning) There are many factors that determine which method is right for you. That’s why we will always ask you questions about your carpet when you contact us. For example; if you feel your carpet, is it soft or hard? Are there any stains? If so, what sort and where? Are there any odours you are concerned about? Based on clients answers we can provide a quote or estimate. When we arrive on site, The Ultimate Cleans team will inspect your carpet prior to cleaning and conduct tests to identify the fibre type, weave, construction, how your carpet is dyed, the backing fabrics and the potential challenges that can occur when applying any chemical including water to a fibre – and then we choose the best method to clean and dry your carpets the best way possible. We will agree on the price before work commences and your invoice can be settled on the day with the click of a button. At The Ultimate Clean, we are 100% confident in our equipment and our high standard of service. Our high-flow vacuum system with HEPA filters – one of the smallest filters available – are the only way to effectively remove the fine soil particles and hairs prior to carpet cleaning, that are not typically removed. You will be amazed by the amount of dust we will remove from your carpet by just vacuuming alone. Our high-flow vacuum system is also Hospital Grade and ideal if you suffer from asthma or allergies . The filters capture bacteria, mould and pollen particles as small as .5 microns – that is 200 times smaller in diameter than human hair and as small as a single particle of cigarette smoke! Our soil suspension solution is sprayed on to target any spotting and soiling, helping to release it from the fibres prior to steam cleaning. The use of soft brushes or pads means we are able to loosen soiling from the fibre and agitate the pre-spray. This helps with the final look of our carpet cleaning process and helps to clean your carpet up to 50% better. For a deep, thorough clean we use a powerful truck mounted extraction system to clean to the base of your carpet fibre. Our machine can produce 130oC of hot cleaning solution and five times more airflow than portable carpet cleaning machines. With the power of heat and incredible vacuum airflow, this process kills dust mites, removes pollens ‘living’ in your carpet and extracts more water out of your carpet for rapid drying times. For persistent or re-occurring stains you’ll be amazed at our stain removal systems. We use heat transfer methods to increase molecular activity which in turn, helps release the stain from the fibre. Our specially formulated neutralising rinse leaves your carpet residue free and helps your carpet resist soiling, feel softer and stay clean for longer. Our carpet tool removes wand and swirl marks, separates fibres and resets the pile allowing for maximum airflow and reduced drying times after your carpet has been thoroughly cleaned. An amazing finishing touch! Our commitment to taking care of our client’s home and furniture means we use plastic or foam block tabs placed under furniture to lift it off your carpet preventing staining or possible damage during drying. The combination of our high speed air movers, drying bonnets, grooming tools, ‘green’ glides on our wands and powerful truck mounted machines all increase air flow over your carpet fibres. We understand fast-drying carpet is important so during the truck mounted carpet cleaning process we even have dedicated drying strokes to remove excess water. Before you go to the expense of replacing your carpet call us, if we can't make your carpets look great with our specialist carpet cleaning process then it is not worth saving. We are professionally trained in water damage carpet cleaning flood restoration, we have all the carpet drying equipment you will never need, we also can treat areas damaged by mould, rapid drying using de-humidifiers for areas affected by water ingress, burst pipes, air conditioner water staining, neutralising odours, removing stains, re-stretching, carpet repairs, spot dying and even restoring colour. Some call us the problem solvers. We regularly receive calls from distressed customers asking us to fix a problem usually caused by untrained carpet cleaners in Perth. Starting Carpet Cleaning Business - Carpet

As more contract cleaners look to expand their services, the service most consider adding is carpet cleaning. However, entering the carpet-cleaning business can be more complicated than many contractors realize. Not being aware of this can be a costly and time-consuming mistake. Sara Thurston with Nilfisk, makers of professional cleaning equipment and manufacturers of the U.S. Products line of portable extractors, offers the following “Tips Cleaning Contractors Should Know about the Carpet-Cleaning Business" before they ever get started: • Separate entities. Professional cleaning and carpet cleaning are two different industries; view them as two separate entities...because they are. • Learn the trade. Know the basics of carpet and fabric cleaning before getting started. • Go portable. Start by selecting portable carpet extractors, as they are less expensive than truckmounts and are very flexible. • Seal of Approval. If unsure which brand or model to select, start by looking for machines that have earned the Seal of Approval from the Carpet and Rug Institute. • Hot and cold. Some extractors generate hot water, others cold water. Select a machine that offers both. Hot water can prove more effective in some carpet cleaning situations. • Focus on the wand. Typically, little attention is paid to the wand when selecting carpet cleaning equipment. But the wand can play a crucial role in how well carpets are cleaned. • Accessorize. Among the items contract cleaners will need to clean carpets are a vacuum cleaner, hand tools to attach to the wand, chemical spotters, towels, and even a carpet rake. • Market focus. Select your market focus. Because many contract cleaners already work with property management companies, these are the first people you should contact.
